Twinpeaks adventure safaris was founded by charles mathenge in the early 2005 a tour company that offers East Africa mountain trecking and safaris.  We offer lodge, camp and trecking safaris, not forgeting extreme adventures to our highest mountains.

The founder Charles Mathenge Mbicho is a volunteer member of Mt kenya rescue team. He started his extreme outdooor activities in his early 1993, when he was selected to be trained by the KENYA WILDLIFE SERVICE to became a rescure officer. He under went montain training courses in first aid, leadership, fire and manoeuvre, environmental impact, communication skills , animal protection, search and rescue to an extreme of climbing all the peaks of Mount Kenya and had to perform demo rescue and evacuations on the mountain. He always thanks the British army, the Austria rescue team, National outdoor leadership school with the support of Kenya wildlfe service, who enabled him acquire the knowledge and skills he has. In his training which took time in the year 1993-2000, he was awarded cerificates and diplomas in the fields mentioned.

Kenya's capital city of Nairobi has a number of diverse attractions of interest to visitors. The following are some of the popular ones:

Nairobi National Park - 4 hours

This tour begins at 1400 hrs. This unique wildlife sanctuary is tucked just 10 kms away from the bustling city centre. Several animal species roam within this park including four members of the big five, exceptional being the elephant. Animals to be found here include; lions, leopards, zebras, r

hinos, wildebeests, and other species including beautiful bird life. The tour returns to the city centre at sundown. A private tour of the same can be arranged in the morning for groups.

Day 1.

Pickup at the airport and drop to hotel boulevard for overnight sleep.

Day 2.

Pickup at the hotel at 7:30am. by the TANZANIA Shuttle and drive to Moshi arriving at 2.00pm.On the Kenya Tanzania boarder visa is needed,dinner and overnight in OSY GRAND HOTEL .Here you will meet your guide and you will be briefed on your itinerary.

Day 3. Moshi – Mandara

After breakfast, drive to Marangu Park Gate, the set off point for your 3 hour hike to the Mandara Hut in which you cover 9 kilometers. Here the altitude is 2,774 meters.
